So I wanted to put some people up here who are offering commissions and whom I think are very deserving of your love and attention, but also I wanted to push my to-do list off my front page, so this journal's purpose is two-fold. 8)

2. - If you're familiar with =Org-infinity, chances are you're familiar with Clari's work. If not, then you should be, because she's awesome. YES I KNOW A LOT OF THESE HAVE ANIMALS IN THEM. That is because a good number of them are Don Bluth films, and apparently, Don Bluth likes animals a whole lot. 8| I'D ALLOW HUMAN CHARACTERS TO BE FROM THOSE WORLDS THOUGH. Just because~ Even though they'd get zapped into animals when they traveled to those worlds, HAHA. (TLK'd, bitches <3)

Included in there are some flicks I either have never heard of before, have no idea what they're about, or do not necessarily endorse in any way, but included anyway. CG-animated movies included for fairness's sake, not necessarily because I want them to be allowed. 8\ And uh, the idea of just...blanketly including anime films is seriously growing on me. I know some fans can be really retarded, but so can fans of anything, so whatev. Also there really aren't that many feature films in that genre, and I'm starting to wonder how much some Sailormoon- and Utena-based characters would seriously bother me, haha. Plus I love Miyazaki, and that love cannot be denied~

So...I think that's it. 8) Obv. going with the non-Disney animated films option, hawhaw. I'd really like to set it up as a sort of...alternate/parallel universe to the regular KH2 one, like a split/alternate reality or whatnot; the gap between the two would (theoretically) be able to be bridged, meaning characters in one could meet characters in the other. Also possibly alternate forms of Org-Infinity characters with differing powers is an idea that I've had, and uh, I will be exploring this further now, ohyes.

Apparently I am going through with this shit. 8) HA

CRAP GUYS, I WANNA MAKE AN ORG-XIII-BASED CLUB ON DA. QUICK SOMEONE SHOOT ME BEFORE I GET THE CHANCE!!!

So I had a whole goddamn journal entry typed out twenty minutes ago with deets and everything, but DA just HAD to go into fucking MAINTENENCE MODE, RIGHT GODDAMN FUCKING THEN DIDN'T IT. Yeah. Awesome. Literally right when I hit "submit." And for ONCE, I hadn't hit CTRL+A, right-click Copy. 8\ ANNOYING. BEYOND ANNOYING.

Anywho. Basically the gist of it was that I'd allow element repeats but only on a really conditional-basis and after a lot of scrutiny, I'd ask for re-submissions and editing based on generic personality crud or lameass/completely useless/ridiculous power/element syndrome, OCs could NOT have any ties to the original KH2 characters but could use their original elements (HIGHLY CONDITIONALLY, though, and I'd expect a LOT of creativity and originality in their interpretation).

Also character, element, and power manifestation originality would be KEY and I would ask a fair amount of the people who submitted shit. Full ref sheets would be required upon submission of application, rejections would be given outright, and I would openly ask people to revise shit as I see fit. There'd probably be a board of nerds to help me out and make sure I'm not being too bitchy so don't worry about a Savvy-run dictatorship or anything, LAWL.

It'd be basically first-come first-serve, but if someone picks an element and I think they're not using it as well as they could be and someone else comes after them asking for the same thing, and the first person doesn't re-submit with the necessary changes ASAP and I like the second person's interpretation better, I'll go with them. 8| Basically I get to be a bitch and nitpick shit, LOL.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE WORLDS, this is my main problem. 8| I'd REALLY like it to be able to act as an essentially-AU sister club to =Org-infinity, to allow for/encourage crossover between members there, since the club has a lot of creative people in it, but uuuh, I can't decide on whether to do non-Disney animated movies or BOOKS. My main problem with books is that I don't want ten thousand retards applying with characters from the Twilight series every goddamn day, and my main problem with non-Disney animated features is that I am really hesitant to allow anime films at this point I don't know whether there'll be enough non-Disney American movies to select from an' shit. 8[ I can think of Fern Gully, Rock-a-Doodle, Road to El Dorado, Animalympics, and We're Back! off the top of my head; ANYBODY GOT ANY OTHERS???? ALSO IF I JUST DID ANOTHER KH2-VERSE (i.e. Disney-fied) VERSION WOULD IT BE SUPER LAME??? OPINIONS, I NEED THEM.

So my first official week of vacation, and what does my body decide to do? COMPLETELY COLLAPSE ON ME, AWESOME. Yeah, I got a cold, starting Monday. HOPEFULLY ENDING THIS WEEKEND, GOOD LORD. I'm already feeling quite a bit better, and I think continually stuffing myself with anti-cold crap of varying sorts has helped ease the process, but still. 8| I hate being sick. *grumbles*

Sooo now that that's out of the way. I'm hoping this weekend will bring much sketchage and next week I'll get my hand back enough to do some real confident inking. I'm definitely out of practice so some of you guys will undoubtedly be my totally unwilling guinea pigs, haha. Also I am planning on experimenting with WATERCOLOURS sometime soon, so LOOKOUT FOR THAT. This will also involve several unwilling subjects, kekeke~

Uhmuhmuhm, what else. Wanting to get a tablet and sum Photoshops sumthin FIERCE, planning to go out and do this hopefully sometime this weekend or next week, because damn, I'd really like to be able to sketch directly into my compooters. I think it'd definitely help me get more practice in and not worry about shit so much, and also to get things done a lot quicker, since I'd already be at my computer when random ideas popped into my head, and I wouldn't have to whip out my sketchbook and attempt to put them down in some serious-type of way.

Yeah so, I've been on a major KH-kick since I started re-playing KH2 and Chain of Memories about a week ago, and there are a few people/places I've stumbled upon that I'd like to give some awesome props to, especially since they're not necessarily as well known as =Org-infinity is. (Hey, just because it's more famous doesn't make it better.)

- I haven't read everything just yet, but from what I can tell, I like this place. A lot. Repeat elements are allowed up to five times, and application requirements and whatnot don't seem to be quite so strict. I definitely wanna check it out s'more, I might apply with Galexna or a completely original Nobody. Because damn, creating these bad boys is fun! Plus I want a boy. 8|

- [link] . I really like this idea and I like the thought and rationale behind it. So long as it doesn't get stupid (which it has the potential for getting), I'm totally for it. Lax seems pretty cool, though, so I have faith in her. 8)

| MOSTLY BABBLING |

I am very, very tired. BUT the semester is almost over, and that means that VERY SOON I will have time, and (hopefully) energy to get to talk with all you guys, comment on pictures, finish and post more art real soon. (: Mostly my problem atm is serious lack of sleep, which is affecting my day time performance, INCLUDING artage. Hopefully come summer and longlong sleepingintiemz, that will all change. Oh yes.

So here's how the rest of my semester breaks down, for all you curious ones out there:

Wednesday (tomorrow): review in PoliSci, probably review in History, last day of step aerobics. Whoo!

Thursday: paperthing due in Psych, plus in-class discussion. Last day of Psych (no final), last day of yoga.

Monday: History final that I technically don't have to take. Aweshum! Nothin else. :3

Tuesday: NO SCHOOL. HOW COOL IS THIS. Oh and I'm tutoring some chick from the high school in chemistry. RAD, MONIES.

Wednesday: Politial Science final. THAT'S IT THOUGH. AND THEN I'M DONE. AWESHUM! Yeah I'm pretty stoked. 8B

Other than that I have basically no life right now. I was up until 1AM last night working on my livejournal layout, LOL, so I'm pretty beat, It looks pretty sweet, though, I have to admit. 8) Also I bullshitted my last paper for Anthro yesterday so I wouldn't have to stress tonight, and took my last test in Anthro, which was super lame. I got a buttload of crap wrong, though I have no idea why, because when I was going over the study guide I knew this shit, so it kinda pisses me off. Anyways, I sent my teacher paragraph-long explanations/corrections to retrieve some extra points on that, since she lets us do that for quizzes we fuck up on, so that's pretty cool. Hopefully I can bump that lame-o B up to an A, I would like that very much.

Otherwise class kinda sucked; this guy AJ who I thought was pretty cute but mostly just liked hanging out with/talking to basically blew me off and didn't talk to me at all/ignored me completely, which I thought was kinda fucked. He and these two other kids we both know came in a bit late, they sat next to me like always, he sat at the desk in front of me. wtf? I mean, sure, there was no chair next to me, and I was sort of sitting in the middle of the desk, but...damn, he could have pulled the chair over and I woulda moved! Lameass. I think this is because he thought I was hitting on him over Facebook because I asked him if he wanted to study together for the Anthro test, he said something dumb like "Why study when I can pass with a lie?" and I said "Becauuuuse you can't pass up a chance to experience my stunning personality?" or something to that effect, and then he ignored me. LAME. Lame.

Alright, tired, face hurting now. I should probably be prepping for the PoliSci review tomorrow or something, but I'm not, I'm too fucken tired. I just wanna go to bed. Buh. PS - I am NOT real thrilled at the prospect of getting up super early three days a week for a summer class I know I'll hate. Grar. So uh, switching gears. I desperately need more figure drawing practice, since I'm getting rather rusty in my old age, and have gone WAY too long without taking a figure drawing class. In lieu of actual live models, I've decided to use stock images from deviantart. Problem is, I'm terribly lazy, and prone to wasting vast amounts of time doing absolutely nothing of any importance. So I was just wondering - do any of you guys have favourite DA stock artists around these parts? Good for poses, good for action poses, good for perspective, expressions, hands, feet, skinny women, big women, men, etc. I'll take pretty much anything at this point, I need the practice somethin fierce.

I recently discovered *kime-stock, which I think is rather spectacular myself, but I know there are a ton others I probably don't even know exist. I'd rather avoid galleries filled with slutty half-naked women who seem to serve no other purpose other than to flash their obnoxious bodies (FOR GOD'S SAKE, SOMEBODY GET THESE GIRLS SOME CUPCAKES), if at all possible. They annoy me. 8| Those galleries with poses that most closely resemble those of actual MODELS (I mean art models now, people) would really be the most ideal; *kime-stock should serve as a fairly good example of what I mean by that.

I love *NanjoKoji's gallery, as well, and plan on doing a lot of work from that, if only in tribute to their collective awesomeness. (: ~justmeina has great male shots I could most definitely use, and there are a few others with awesome pin-up shots, but I'm kinda past that now, and I really wanna work on (re-)understanding how the human figure works (more than I already do, since, in all honesty, my current understanding is...quite limited) so that I can draw it in more interesting, dynamic poses, without having to use a reference (eventually, eventually!).

The short of it is: I need stock images. Animal-centric accounts work, too, since I'm going to try and tackle animalies, as well, in my quest for greater artistic mastery. *valiantpose* (Haha, realizing how much I suck as an artist is awesome!)

THERE IS STILL TIME.
